 Offering Music for Swing Dancing, Ballroom Dancing and Concerts

Swingmasters is an 18-piece big band located in Sacramento, California, offering a full “big band” sound, and featuring excellent female and male vocalists. Our band boasts an extensive repertoire of dance music, including all ballroom dance types of music from Swing to Latin. Our musicians are talented and experienced, and we love to play. Great Vocalists and Musicians

Our instrumentalists and singers truly enjoy playing big band music. They are talented and educated, and have played with a wide range of performers and groups over the years, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Keely Smith, and Gordon Goodwin. We can play “darn near anything” you request!

Community Service

 

Swingmasters' mission includes providing opportunities for local students to play with the band, and to learn from noted experts about jazz phrasing and improvisation. Our members work with schools to promote big band music and to develop better performance facilities and equipment.
